M eet Karishma Manga Bedi, who teaches
us how to master ‘less is more’ and
seamlessly blend day and night looks.
“Since my role involves me spearheading
strategy and channelling efforts to grow
awareness and a market for Forest
Essentials, my work wear has to be crisp.
I have to feel that I am in control and my
clothes play a huge part in that. Heels for
me are an instant confidence booster.”
Her Style She grew up critiquing her
mother’s choice of clothes, which were
black and white. “I often called them
boring, since I felt the bright colours
that other women wore always looked so
glamorous. But after many years, I now
look at my wardrobe and laugh because
ids a mirror image of my mother’s.”
Her Shopping List She prefers to
accessorize her look with heels and bags
rather than with too much jewellery. “My
favourite brands are Chanel, Ralph Lauren
and YSL. On the rare occasion that I
wear jewellery, I pick pieces that have
sentimental value.” She is also a huge fan
of watches, especially those from Dior and
Tag Heuer. She feels “they instantly add
flair without trying too hard.”
